Minimalism is design style, characterized by brevity of expression, simplicity, accuracy, and clarity of the composition. Rejecting the classic methods of creativity and traditional art materials, minimalist use industrial and natural materials with simple geometric shapes, neutral colors (black, gray) and small volumes.

The main features of the minimalism interior design:

– Spatial freedom: a small amount of furniture and accessories.
– Zoning area, multi-level lighting.
– The color palette is light, based on the play of semitones, a lot of white, graphically underlined black or gray. Palette complement the natural tones of wood, brick, metal, shiny glass.

The  minimalist wall color scheme have a single color, no more than two – three shades of similar colors in the room. The second variant colors – these are two contrasting colors. For walls used monotone wallpaper as an option with no clearly defined pattern, embossed surface. Also used textured plaster, wallpaper. Minimalist interiors make insertion of wall panels made of natural or synthetic materials, such as stainless steel, polished and textured wood, artificial and natural stone.
