Choosing the right color for the rooms can sometimes be a big challenge, especially when it comes to the bathroom where the result seems permanent and in addition the materials are very expensive. It’s clear that not all colors work everywhere. Below, we show you design ideas of successful bathrooms that will help you choose the color for you. So to speak, we made a color chart and we combined it with practical tips that make it easier to choose the right bathroom color. Enjoy!
Choose colors to which you respond emotionally. Yellow, for example, can be cheerful for one person and worrying for another.
Do not be afraid to opt for more saturated colors. Usually, there is very little empty space and the color of the paint becomes a border around the cabinets and appliances. The right paint color can highlight these elements as the appropriate frame of a painting.
Be prepared to compromise. Until all family members find consensus, your bathroom design will be revised several times.
Do not underestimate lighting. Examine your color in such light (natural or artificial) that you will have in the bathroom. The green, for example, sometimes looks cool in the daylight, but it looks dull under artificial light.
There are some generalizations. The pink, peach or coral compliment tones better than green, for example. On the other hand, if green combines with wooden elements, then it is a magnificent choice for the bath of natural materials. The blue is very pretty for the seaside bathroom designs. Finally, when nothing works, there is always white, clean and simple.
